Role Description
The Web Design and Marketing Intern will perform a variety of tasks in support of the company’s marketing efforts, including the creation of graphics and designs for social media and marketing content, and supporting the development and maintenance of the company websites. This is a full-time on-site role located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
- Design and update website on WordPress platform for the various business units of the firm.
- Implement advanced plugins and tools on the website as per management requests.
- Maintain website for usual operational challenges to ensure continuous functionality of the website.
- Prepare marketing material for social media sites and schedule regular posts.
- Send out newsletters and event updates to mailing lists.
- Creation of graphics and designs for social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
Qualifications
- Working towards or graduated with a degree in Advertising, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools or other image editors.
- Experience with creating content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Understanding of social media trends and best practices.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
- Experience with WordPress platform for website development.
- Experience in digital marketing and email campaigns is a plus.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management software is a plus.
